What version of the script?
What is the value in field 5 in the value section?
Current (2.24) but also was in previous version too.
Now I enabled script and main screen significially slows down
Value 5 => 30
Seems that it works like Oscillator in 386 systems.
60 => 30fps
120 => 60fps
what is idea for limiting FPS?
You can see the real FPS values if you press the tilde button, they should match.
Limiting the FPS can significantly reduce the load on the processor and open more windows with the game or significantly increase performance on weak PCs.
My monitor produces 144 FPS without restrictions, when I set it to 30 FPS, I don’t see a difference, but the CPU load drops by 85%
I know about tilde and it started be wrong (with limiting) from a few days.
Don't know why but like I said - FPS are limited in half. Anyway I increased so no problem.
In my case: during introducing Cascade something changed. 30fps doesnt help so much. I have mostly extremaly slow animations with rapidly memory consumption.

where can I see my fps and where is the tilde button?
The tilde (~) key is the one directly under the key and just above . Once you press it, the FPS and other info will appear at the bottom right corner of the screen.

ok and last question how did they limit there fps?
By using the FPS value text box under the "Values" menu in the script. If you hover your mouse over each box, it will tell you what the field is for.

By adding a pause between frame renderings. The browser has functionality that allows you to run code between frame renderings, adding this pause.
From some time scripts slows game signigicially (max 15fps on chrome in battles). When I disable script in Tampermonkey then fps back to 60 value.
