This userscript numbers the search results on StartPage.com and other Ixquick sites like StartingPage.com and Ixquick.com.
StartPage.com is Google without the big brother surveillance. It doesn't record your IP address, use tracking cookies, or log your searches. Searches are done via HTTPS.
Also, for each search result, there is an option to use their proxy service to view that site. Good for increased privacy and security.
To pay the bills, they have a few, minor sponsored search results on occasion, but that can be blocked with Adblock Plus.
This userscript is compatible across all major browsers - Firefox (with Greasemonkey or Scriptish), Opera 12 (with User Javascript), and Chrome (native support, installs as an extension).
Note: in < Opera 12, when using HTTPS for StartPage.com (or StartingPage.com, Ixquick.com), you'll need to enable User Javascript on HTTPS.
