My previous ignore list script gradually grew into this monstrosity. I still consider the ability to ignore users to be the most important feature, but I've added a number of features and fixes that make the forum much easier to interact with. I've forgotten what many of the new features are, but here's what I remember:

  • Nicer post hiding: (optional) expandable placeholders for hidden posts, (optional) hiding of deleted posts
  • Many fixes for post quoting and editing: quoting mostly preserves the formatting of the original post*, broken editor features are removed, the terms of use checkbox stays checked
  • Handy navigation features: links to recently viewed pages and unread posts in thread lists, top-of-page buttons, working jump-to-page box, images in thread lists link to the product page
  • Customizable user tags (click the "Member" below a user's avatar), just because
  • A few cosmetic changes: fixed align tags, cleaned up some misaligned page elements
  • Added a bunch of settings to the forum settings page

* I haven't figured out how to make lists in FT's almost-BBCode, so they're not supported; embedding YouTube videos inside a quote breaks the quote, so videos are replaced with a link; there are probably some other issues that I haven't spotted yet.

There are almost surely bugs, and there are a few things that I think could be done better. Feel free to post suggestions in this thread.
